Government Polytechnic Mawana Khurd, Meerut was established in 2016 under the Technical Education Department of Government of Uttar Pradesh. Currently, Government Polytechnic Mawana Khurd, Meerut is running at Government Polytechnic Bijnor (Near BSNL Telephone Exchange Meerut Barrage Road).Presently,There are three courses running:- Computer Science & Engineering, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering (Automobile).

Government Polytechnic Mawana provides diploma level programs recognized by AICTE, by identifying the needs of industries and society as per rules and policy of state and national government under the direct control of Directrate of Technical Education Uttar Pradesh. The Polytechnic keeps pace with the changing times by designing new programmes, upgrading the curriculam of existing programmes, developing and modernizing the infrastructure and organising staff development programmes on a regular basis. It has been declared as a Centre of Excellence in key areas of Engineering, Technology and Management by providing world class teaching facilities and healthy collaboration with industry and various Government Departments.
